Just bite the bullet and take a trip down to BWchiptune. I drove over from Somerset - was a long day, but well worth it. You wont regret it. When remapping you want to be sure it's done properly, and Jason is one of the best.

Full BMW service history so should I have it remapped?

As long as everything is up to scratch and been maintained properly - which given it has a full BMW service history I would expect it to be, I see no reason why you shouldn't.
