Best traction for 285/30-20?

Hi gents,
What's the best traction tire I could get in the size above? Doesn't seem like Nitto offers a good DR in that spec. Does anyone else have one I'm missing?

I need something that will grip with ~600rwhp.

Thanks!

None...you would have to drop to at least 18's...285/35/18 nitto nt555r....or if you drop to 17's you'll have a lot more options

Lower profile will usually hurt straight line traction. It adds sidewall stiffness and the tire will run cooler, which may or may not be good. 18's are probably the sweet spot on this car with the overall diameter. You need some sidewall flex to get good heat and flex a little on accleration. Too firm and it will break loose easier.

Honestly, for straight line acceleration 17's and a narrower tire at lower pressure will probably hook up better. You'd want a very soft compound like a dot legal tire. Under 45F, you'd even want a performance winter tire.

It just depends on what you want ot optimize. Straight line vs. cornering, you have to compromise one to gain on the other.

Well damn. I figured that was the case, but was hoping I could get away with my wheels I like so much now. Guess I'll have to swap for at least 18s then.

Are there other options for 18s than nt555r? I've heard bad things about those at these power levels.

Thanks guys!

thats the only drag radial for 18's that will fit but you might have to roll your fenders...or you can go nt01 or r888 those come in 275 so you won't have to roll the fenders those are not drag radial but will hook on 2nd and 3rd gear
