No formula built into the blades, just standard wiper blades. My factory ones were probably 10 times louder than these. I'll report back if u need me to be, but I think your kinda proving my point that u guys think the cost of something is representing the quality of the product always

Rock auto clearance or FCP euro. I have had luck with both. Shipping is the most expensive part.

Anyone that knows wipers can make a recommendation with the following considerations?
Is silicone a good option for lots of heavy wet weather and ice and snow when at the mountain? Teflon a better compromise? Ideally I think I would want a replaceable blade beam type. They unfortunately take direct sunlight and heat in the summer, and I think that is my biggest issue that is not going to be easy to rectify. Maybe swap out to sacrificial old blades seasonally… Any advice how to optimize what I think is a harsh life on wipers that really need to work well when called on? |

I've had the Michelin Stealth XTs on for about a year now.
*Daily driver *Lives outside 100% of the time *Sees all seasons (its colorado, duh) Their performance is great in my opinion. The only time is streaks (and its LIGHT streaks) is when either the blades are dirty, windshield is dirty, or both. Otherwise they're great for rain, snow, sleet, etc. and doesn't really stick to the windshield when its been sitting in below freezing temperatures. Not to mention they're beefy and in my opinion match the wiper arms better (cosmetically) compared to OEM. Only real complaint is it doesn't like my washer fluid much, just kind of smears until it dries up after a few wipes. My advice on making them last as long as possible (and help with streaking) is to clean the blades off with rubbing alcohol every time to you fill up. Maybe more frequently during monsoon season and winter

I’m disappointed with the Bosch wiper blades I bought recently, put the little cover back on and there’s a large gap compared to the OEM blades. Next time, I will order from ECS at $20 for the set.

Rainy PNW and no complaints with Valeo 900. I believe they're OE.

Might just go with genuine BMW from fcp for our 2011 cpo that recently went out of warranty.
