I'm having issues with my dealer here in Tennessee and having to get BMWNA involved to get a loaner...
I just wanna park my car in the garage with the blower and/or battery unplugged till it's ready to be fixed. |

Also, the loaners are covered by BMW but idk about the insurance. The hertz lady said BMW covered insurance but the dealership said they didn't. Last edited by aj90; 01-18-2018 at 03:14 PM.. Reason: Add info |

Yea, I'll have to ask the owner next time I see him.

Brought my E90 in to the closest dealership to speak with a service advisor. Came in and said I had questions regarding the recall, and what my options are regarding alternate transportation such as a loaner or a rental because I don’t feel safe driving it since I’ve smelled burning occasionally as I drive everyday. Service advisor proceeded to tell me to open my hood and showed me that I have a small VCG and OFHG leak and that’s what is causing the burning smell. When I asked about the recall for the blower motor I was told I have to wait until the 2nd letter comes in. Basically I’m coming in concerned about a recall, and I’m being told something I already know about my car, and completely ignoring the fact that my car is under a recall. Funny thing is outside in the parking lot behind the service center it was LINED with a mix of pre lci/LCI E90s. Maybe they turned me away because of my age? Feeling kind of bummed out, but I guess I still get to drive my car.

Got a Kia Soul (my other option was a Versa), was promised a full size car. Going to call enterprise and see if they have anything better.

Initially spoke with a SA, she flat out refused to fess up a loaner and spoke like she had never heard of the process or paperwork.
Later that day, drove my car to Grayson and asked to speak with the Service Manager. He right away grabbed the waiver to store at my house and asked when I could come back to get a car from Enterprise. No hassle what so ever at that point. Now I have a Nissan Rogue to drive until God knows when, lol. |

When my car was still under warranty ever time I would take it to Grayson for a repair I would come away with new damage.
Passenger seat pressure sensor = destroyed plastic door trim and a paint scratches in the door frame. Serpentine belt tensioner = grinding the lower front valance on a curb. But at least they made the process fun by not making me aware of the new damage when I would pick up the car and I would get to play scavenger hunt. |

It was seriously no hassle at that point. Enterprise showed up with the car within 10 minutes after I came to pick up. |
