+1

I'd also like to know what unit is recommended for this. If someone could put up a DIY on the flash process after the release, that would be awesome. Seems pretty straight forward, but I'd like to make sure I'm not missing anything.

So the Vanos tables are still not tuneable, so this would be similar to a Custom Cobb tune gains in terms of power ?

Same thing as Cobb? Off the top of my head, what do we have already before launch that Cobb doesn't...vanos tables, valvetronic, support for N20 3.5 bar sensor, more tables for adjusting boost control (like WG position, WG spring model, normal-sport boost bias), more torque limiters, adjustable burble duration (no ppk needed), cold start delete, adjustable cooling setpoints.
And more to come like rev limiters or launch control.

We're just starting.

I'm assuming there wouldn't be any issues with using a micro usb to Usb-c adapter?

I am using this one: https://www.amazon.com/VicTsing-Adap...2B3.0%2BA&th=1

It works great.

Don't adapt usb C to micro, then micro to USB. Take a step out and use this style adapter

Thanks,
I use the Amazon fire tablet to control my jb4. Works great with the OTG cable and I think I paid $40 for it.

Is there a benefit to running both JB4 and MHD?
If so, how would you run it?

Currently, PPK and JB4 map 1 and 2.

Whatever happens I hope it's quick. I'm setting my appointment for the Pure Stage 2 install and will need tuning after.

I've a PS2 setup and awaiting MHD to be able to work on 2013 Eseries... I really need a correct tune for my baby!!! If yours is earlier and able to flash through obd you shouldn't have to wait

No need for JB4 once MHD is released.

Hit me up when you get started. WedgePerformance@gmail.com
I'm also getting ready to upgrade my 135i MSport DCT with a PS2.

I think you're thinking of BootMod3 which is expensive in comparison to MHD. Price point will be reasonable for what you're getting.

Interested in the above comment "No need for JB4 once MHD is released."

I'd personally like to avoid stacking tune devices but I can't see MHD managing meth or providing realtime data display. If I am off base here please let me know, as that would be super exciting.
