Remove JB3 and see if it still happens. Do you get long cranks at start up?

If you have a 'service engine soon' light just go in to autozone and read it. Without more details no one can provide any help. You can also contact BMS to see if they have any ideas, but I suspect they will request more information.

Random misfires on just 1 or 2 cylinders not under heavy boost are normally faulty fuel injectors, or in rare cases faulty spark plugs. Remove modifications and take it in. If the misfires were on multiple cylinders than fuel pump or o2 sensors become suspect number 1.

I had this too...

They will first try to replace your cam shaft ledge....if the problem still persists, they replace the cam shaft...If you are also throwing vanos codes they will replace those too. (solenoids/pulse wheel)

Good Luck!

I've had this happen in the last two days........codes for cylinder 2 & 3 misfires and codes for random misfire. I just changed my plugs about 4-5 months ago so it probably isn't that. That leaves the injectors to be questioned.

If that happens again, I'm taking it to the dealership and have them check it out and possibly replace the injector(s).

So what did your code read? Also, after replacing the fuel pump and still didn't fix the problem, then they still thought it was the fuel pump?

Have they looked at anything else, like the injectors, etc?

I tried that this morning, had the PROcede on valet mode(stock) upon start-up, and same codes came up, the cylinders didn't change(2 & 3).

Did you have them read the codes? Were they the same misfire codes as mine?

I'm starting to get JUST engine malfunction lights now, no more SES light.......And the car sounds like it's not getting enough of something......
