HELP MEEEE
I had just finished doing a spark plug replacement on my 335i when a the bearing from the extension some how fell out and into the cylinder and it was sitting next to the spark plug. I tried for hours trying to remove it but it then fell into the piston housing. I tried starting the car to try and shoot the metal ball out(dumb idea) but nothing. Everyone is telling me I have to get a new engine now but I still have some faith that it didn't do any damage and I have a Magnet small enough to fit down there but the ball is still being compressed so is there anyway for me to manually crank the engine? I someone what know what im doing when it comes this. PLEASE HELP ME

Look at a DIY for walnut blasting. I think there is a way to slightly turn the engine over using a wire on the starter. That might have the result you're hoping for. The video below video shows how to do it around 13:17, but you might have to remove the intake manifold.

People online say doesn't matter, only negative in doing it the wrong way would be loosening the crank bolt but you would have to put a lot of torque I to loosen it.

That's the spark plug, right? The bearing is beside it? That means it is not in a cylinder, it's in the spark plug well.

You can bump the starter with a cheap starter switch from HF or a parts store. Should be in the manifold diy. |

Out the exhaust or stuck in a catalytic converter? Hopefully it didn't damage your exhaust valves or turbo charger.
