Right Cornering Light Malfunction error code

Got this error code after going FBO. Tried searching for a solution, but came up short since they were different "light malfunction" errors. Anyone know how I can get this resolved?

I'm thinking it's just a lose connector or bad bulb.

Im not so sure this is the H1 bulb. I have a similar warning on my car and after verifying that all the lights and bulbs work, have been led to believe the actual issue is the "adaptive" steering portion of the lights that pivot in the direction you are turning the steering wheel.

There is a H1 bulb on the lci with adaptive in the inner part of the light that turns on when you have the turn signal on or turn the wheel in that direction. to get access see top of headlight see the panel with the 3 screws its right in there.

Any recommendation on what brand H1 bulb to get? For what it's worth, I have the Lux H8.

Apologies for calling it an h1 I get the two mixed up all the time, it's actually an h3. See these threads, https://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=647325 https://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=823508

Looks like GP Thunder 7500 H3 bulbs are the way to go.

Just replaced the H3 bulb and haven't gotten the error. All looks good for now.

I had a similar problem but it was my smc lear module. Water had gotten into it and it had corroded. Scored one off eBay for $100.

Can you tell me more about this module? I am getting the same cornering light message, jumped the H3 bulb as mentioned in the posts, and found that one does not work. I plugged the working bulb into both sides of the car and I couldn't get it to light up. I tried the using the turn signal, and steering the car all the way both directions with the light on auto and then again with the lights in the on position, and nothing. Does that sound like a module problem?
