I'm going to hold onto it mate - will be required for putting the car back to stock when it comes to sell! |

Quick update - I now have this on its way over to me from Latvia.
Same guy I used to make my custom wheel that I had in my F56. This time though, I wanted a more OEM+ look, so I have had the following done: Larger thumb grips added Extra padding added to make the wheel feel thicker M tri-colour stitching Nappa leather (smooth and perforated) But most noticeably, I have kept it fully round and not added a flat bottom, I do like flat bottom wheels, but I find a round one is nicer for daily use! Only have a couple of pics at present, but cant wait to get it fitted - I think I will buy the M3 steering wheel trim to complement it, which has a nicer more pronounced recess for the M logo. In other news, my BMWP front bumper is here, I just need to find the time to get it off for paint, and fitting! Hopefully will get than done by the end of the month, but I'll have to see! |

Really happy with the outcome - very similar in looks to the original M Sport wheel, but a much nicer finish with the premium nappa leather, and the M tricolour stitch! Its about 10mm thicker in the hand compared to my old wheel too, which doesnt sound much, but its noticeable when driving! M3 steering wheel trim just finishes the look off IMO, adds a little something compared to the usual M Sport version! Finally, a shot of the car on the way back from the Lakes over the weekend! |

That certainly adds to the interior for sure. Same style as mine with the perforated sides.
Still love those rims too. You'll have to give me first refusal if you ever decide to sell LOL.

R99, what did you do with you "old" 135i brake set up?
Wouldn't be interested in selling it would you - or am I too late? Just got my 325d (pre LCI) so whilst I won't be quite doing the degree of modifications you have (I can but dream....) the brakes are something that interest me. Cheers |

Try ringing round some breakers yards that have an E8x 135i in for breaking. That's how I got mine in the end! Although, I'd still recommend the F3x set up, superior in every way! The 340mm version calipers & discs can be picked up super cheap if you don't want to stretch to the 370mm version! Even the F3x 4 pot 340mm set up is bigger that the 135i 6 pot set up at 338mm. |

Well I could but try my luck....
Would the F3x 340mm fit under 18" alloys would you happen to know? Don't really want to stretch (sorry no pun intended) to 19" or larger. Any advice on where to find the 340mm set up - or is it a question of trawling fleebay and the likes? Cheers |

Thanks!
Took my Performance bumper to the bodyshop for paint today, but in order to get a perfect match, the guy wants my car there to compare with. So, on the 11th of next month the bumper will be on! The rear roof spoiler looks like it needs some prep work to fit, so I'm going to sell it on and probably buy the AC Schnitzer version instead! |

Just to keep things up to date....
Car goes in for the Performace bumper on Monday. I can't wait. After thinking about selling the car, and how much I'd loose & my cost to change I've decided to keep it another year. So I've had the MOT done a month early before the AUC warranty runs to see if there was anything needed that would be covered, but it passed with flying colours. I'm in the process of extending the warranty for another year too, to ensure peace of mind. Whilst in for the MOT they have identified a transmission oil leak, a diff oil leak and also glow plug no:5 is faulty. All will be done FOC under the AUC warranty, just highlights to me the benefit of maintaining the warranty for unexpected issues like these! I also decided to continue improving the car with another OEM retrofit, so today I have just paid for a full Hi-End Individual Audio system for my E91. Work to fit it will be done in the coming weeks, I think it will be a fairly involved retrofit as it will require the headlining to be cut and the rear door cards too! Looking forward to hearing it though! |

Nice one buddy on the performance bumper going in. Really looking forward to the finished article as its going to look superb.
As for the ICE upgrade again excellent purchase. It does look to be quite an install with all those speakers but can imagine it will sound excellent once done.
