Looking for an Indie European shop (far western suburbs of Chicago)

I have a Mercedes GLE350 that is about to come off warranty. Anyone know of a good European shop in the Western suburbs? The nearby BMW Indie that I've used is strictly BMW.

Where exactly west? Burdi and M&M in Schiller Park are very good with Mercedes. Fertech on Addison.

Autobahn in St. Charles. Fluid in Naperville. European in Shaumburg. Vast area from Naperville to Schaumburg. It’s worth driving a little to a good shop. Where exactly are you located?

I'm right in the middle off of North Avenue (Carol Stream), so any of these could work.

I’m on Schmale Rd just north of North Ave. Fertech is closest. Small shop. Only two lift. But Fernando is very knowledgeable. They work on all exotics from the local dealers. Probably would be the cheapest too.

Oh, wow! You're very close by then. Nothing comes up in Google for Fertech. In which town are they located?

If you are looking only for pads, get Akibono.
For rotors Zimmerman.

What exactly you are looking to replace from the suspension? To refinish the calipers they must be disassembled and send out for powder coating. That won't be cheap.

Well the car is now 11 years old on original components. it is starting to feel a little loose on bumps if that makes any sense.

62K miles now.

Probably just refresh the entire thing.

I finally had to take the GLE over to FERTECH for a 3rd gear trans shudder. Fernando was very thorough and detailed in his explanation of what was done. Highly recommended!
