Question about VRSF intercooler

Hey guys,
I recently purchased a used 5" VRSF intercooler from another forum member and it did not come with the installation hardware (bolts and spacer).
I was wondering if anyone knew the specs on the bolts that vrsf provides, or any other suggestions. Thanks!

Btw, already contacted vrsf, just wanting to see if I could get a faster reply.

They're not big on helping anyone who didn't give them their money. Maybe they'll see this and want to prove me wrong...in which case, you're welcome

Back when I bought mine it was a double sided screw, a washer, and a nut. The last time I installed one I went to the hardware store and found a longer version of the stock bolt, bought a rubber and metal washer. Worked better than the hardware that came with it originally.

Sounds good! I think I will go with that setup today.

just get two screws. you don't need spacers. Vrsf needs to stop sending those things. they suck and you don't need them.

they need to send two metal washers/screws and be done with it.

VRSF 5" install problems

Im having trouble getting the IC up in there. Any suggestions?
2011 335i w/M sport bumper. I didn't cut anything, yet. Seems like should cut some of the lower bumper cover.

Thanks for the help!

I had a 2011 e92 335i with the Msport package. When I installed my 7 inch I cut the entire mid section away. When I installed it on my X1 i opted to keep as much shroud as I could. You can unbolt the piece shown and then just slowly cut away at the remaining piece until it slides in there. I don't know what amount of cutting if any is recommended for the 5 inch unit. Hope this helps!

YOU DO NOT NEED TO MAKE ANY MODIFICATIONS TO THE BUMPER ITSELF
