Question September 1st price increase?

Does anyone know if there will be a price increase on September 1st when BMW plant starts back up? I got a dealer that I suspect is putting pressure on me to come and and make a deal before then and is using this as a BS excuse.

Thanks!

I imagine they would have announced said price increases when they announced the September production updates.

Price increases on the MSRP & options typically occur during the change in model years. Your salesman could be talking about a change to the incentives (special APR or lease rates) which could mean a higher price. Those typically change on the 1st of the month. He won't know if the incentives will go up or down, just that they "could" be higher.

^ No, he knows that I know the special APR goes away at the end of this month. But, I'm locked in for 60 days which is why I was asking about this so called price increase.

I got another dealer that is telling me they have extended the incentives that end today until the end of the year.

Can anyone confirm this?

For the past 3 years BMW has increased prices mid year or when there are some updates, but they are usually anounced.
