Need Some Lease Advice, Please

So, I'm about to pull the trigger on my third 3 Series BMW lease, but I still feel clueless throughout the entire process. Any advice would be helpful.

I can't seem to find the MF right now and don't know how to back it in from the totals. Residual is 57%. If significant, car would be white, m-sport, ipod, harmon kardon, heated seats, sirius.

The details:
2011 335i coupe msrp $49,625
Selling price (including free Tranny) 45,357.00
Doc Fee and DMV fees: $373.00
Tax: 2,727.36

Looking at a 36 month lease, 15k per year.
Gonna roll the taxes into the monthly, so I'm only putting down first payment and fees.

Quote is $718.05 per month.

Many thanks in advance.

my bad, that was from a possible 335is lease I was thinking of. Looks like current residual on the coupe for a 36 month lease is 61%.

Does the selling price include the acquisition fee as well?
How do Maryland taxes work? Do you pay tax on the the payment or does the total tax number get broken out evenly over your payments?

Based on current MF and residual i'm coming up with a payment of $594 before tax and I'm factoring in a marked up acquisition fee of $925. if you pay tax on the payment (6%) that would put you at $629 if the $2727 is broken over 36 payments then you're at $669

Even if the dealer was bumping the MF to the max allowed I'm still getting less than you were quoted so something is missing in your totals. You need to find out Acquistion, dealer fee or anything else that's being added before I can figure out where the gap is.

You're on your third lease and you don't know how to lease? Oh dear.

The residuals for every BMW model are updated monthly here: http://bimmerfest.com/forums/showthread.php?t=475764

Make sure you understand that the residuals vary with mileage - look at the bottom.

Since you are in MD, you HAVE to pay the taxes on the full negotiated price of the car so either pay up front or roll them in but do not residualize them. I am attaching a spreadsheet - it's not the best - just something I hacked together many years ago but you can use it to get a good idea.

Change the .txt suffix to .xls for the file to work. Also the prices on Sheet 1 are 2009 numbers. Modify as you will.

"Oh dear"

Do people really say that anymore?

Wasn't looking for criticism, just guidance.
