RE: Another Victim of HPFP
Gosh....kind of bad luck today as I drive myself to work in the morning and my 335 is running great...Then, I tried to re-start the car at my work place in the afternoon to prepare a ride for my daughter attending her Herb private lesson and then, my car is having the CEL, with the symptom of limp mode or 2 cylinders does't work!!
Pull myself to the closest garage and then, check for the fault code and apparently, HFPF......since the warranty already expired and I'm wondering if anyone knows if BMW HK is adapting the same of the States is doing...extended the HPFP for 10 years, 100,000 kms?? Call a few parts dealers and they all running out of the new 13517592881 HPFP in stock....Have to give Bimmer HK a try to see if they have stock but it will be hurting of course.. B.R., Matthew

OH shit..........I'm sorry to hear that. I doubt that BMW HK will do the warranty for HPFP. Good luck for the repair man.

Hi, Just got back the car yesterday with the HPFP being fixed and whilst, no warranty being covered by Bimmer HK but pay out of my own pocket!!
As of the newest version of HPFP, you can search this info on either N54 forum or in the Turbo engine forum of E90....you will find out there are 3 different part numbers which can tell you BMW AG is working on enhancing this HPFP and the part numbers I listed is the latest version...of course, it is in the current productional 335....
