Weekend MT, Engine and Golf Tee

Ok - Finally got aroung to changing the MT fluid with OEM from Tischer. As the fluid drained I was surprised just how clean the oil looked. At 38k I thought it would have a slight brown tint. Regardless - the new MT fluid seems to have little or no effect on gear shift changes. Very knotchy as before - simply changed because the word on the street is that it is a good PM even if the OEM MT oil is lifetime fluid. I did notice a change with the CDV swap - but not with this fluid change. I have 3qts left & will change again in 50K --- love this car and plan to keep as long as possible.

Changed the oil with Lubro Moly 5W30 -- LL04 --- I change every 5K -- will go back to GC 0W30 LL01 once I use up my stash of the Bavarian Auto Lubro Moly.

Tried the muffler flap delete by unpluging the vacuum electrical connection in the trunk ----- not a really sweet sound -- just more groan at low rpms. So after a short 30min trip to the golf course -- I pluged it back in. Plan to check out the potential code error with my BT Scan next weekend.
