I replaced the standard halogen headlights with the ones with halo rings, now its showing a headlamp warning light whenever I turn on/off the car. The projector lights are not working either. Fog lights, high beam, halo rings OK.

The headlights with halo rings were in perfect working order when I took them out.

I've checked all the related fuses and plugs and they seemed fine. Is there a reset required after changing the headlights?

Anyone know how to get the projector lights to work and get rid of the error message?
