I'll put a link up for the "latest" 4.15.32 today if I get a chance. Only an idiot pays for it.

Your old machine will probably not cut it unless you are willing to upgrade to at least Win7. I believe part of the .Net framework that is required won't install on an XP machine. That said, there is no longer an XP requirement for the rest of the BG tools suite as compatibility mode is now actually a functional thing.

Rest of the requirements are minimal enough that you're probably ok no matter what you have — just obviously that better machine will give you faster coding/flashing. Most cases that's not really an issue.

You need 20 to 50 gb for ista D alone.
Depending on how loaded up is is.

Mine is at 20 gb

For faster and better a new pc with a SSD makes things nicer.
win 10 is faster to.

If you are using an older computer you may need to update
Microsoft visual C++ (get all versions)and there is some other network software requirement.(.Net framework)

This is ISTA/D 4.15.31 with a torrent for SQLiteDBs. I can get ISTA/P but I really have no use for it, and like pointed out, it's password roulette.

I don't think this works at all .
Why isn't there a direct mega link if it points
you to mega anyway.

Sensible thanks for responding I'm unable to send you back a message since your inbox is full. I'm trying to install ISTA-P 3.66.0.200 I believe. I was able to get d working and wanted to get p running. Thought p needed icom emulation. Can p run native K d can cable without emulator?

Sorry, I misunderstood. You still need an emulator - but it's called ISTA /P Loader.

Here's some old links: https://mega.nz/#F!dEpinQKQ!VN3XJ7jW5xD6xSfy5vho2w

Hello everyone!

Does anyone know how can I get ISTA/P to work?
I managed to install and use ISTA/D for diagnose and other informative thing, but with ISTA/P I cannot make it connect with my E60 or E90. Any suggestions?

I'm using a K+DKAN usb cable like this.

L.E: Why is ISTA/D + ISTA/P so large? Why does it use so much space in my DRIVE? BMW-ISTA D & P use at least 280GB on my drive.

If you are using K+DCAN with ISTA P you need to use an emulator. The best one is called ISTA P Loader. It's free. Search for it.

ISTA P contains firmware for all vehicle modules...

ISTA D does not.

My copy of ista D is around 20gigs I assume its only e90 data and may not
even have diesel and 4 bangers from those years.
I thought the typical ista P was around 50 gigs for an e90

If you get the newest version its probably covering the f and g cars?
Do you really need that ?

I would like to see a tutorial about ISTA P LOADER.
I've used ISTA P Loader to launch ISTA P, but the program cannot connect with ECU.

Yes you can but it is not advisable to use a k/d can cable
for ista P programming.

I think you need to set up standard tools first to configure the interface.
I would use the Bimmergeeks.net downloads those are known to work.
