Guys need your advice! Blower stop working

So, couple days ago my blower stop working, no air at all in any mode. I checked fuses its all good, I checked if all the outlets in the battery are connected, I take off and lubricated blower motor and still nothing, then I connect electricity straight to the blower and it works fine, but if I put to the resistor it doesn't. I am about to order new resistor(I am not sure if it is correct naming, I will attach a picture) but I am not sure if the problem with it, because maybe resistor should be activated with a buttons and it won't work if you connect it straight to electricity.
What do you think? Is it a problem with this resistor or I should troubleshoot sth else?? Thanks
