Coolant in spark plug hole?????

Had a mega full service today, the mechanic was very thorough he mentioned there were signs of possible coolant in no 3 plug hole spotted when replacing plugs, is there a known weak point, or am I looking at possible head gasket replacement.... whats the approximate cost of that?

Many thanks.

Any oil in the expansion tank? Definitely coolant? Perhaps get the garage to check the head bolts. They are known to fail. http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=711444

If it is coolant and it is the head bolt issue, then BMW should cover it although there could be some resistance as is normal. But they do know about this problem.
