EVOtech DYNO SHEET!!! is in! -- 325i ECU software chip
Here is the dyno sheet from http://www.dynocomp.com/tuner.php
This flash is prices at a very very affordable $895. These gains are due do the changes in the electronic lifters, basically like adding a set of cams.:rocks: We also plan to do our own dyno on this as well, as these numbers are crazy! Don't get us wrong, we fully trust dyno-comp! Discussion? |

1. Are these dyno figures on a US 325i or Euro 325i?
2. Any idea on expected gains for the E90 330i? |

Whoa.... those are gains on the US spec E90 325i!!!
+40 hp and +44tq is very impressive gains. What all is done to achieve those numbers? Just an ECU flash??? I would be seriously interested if its a mod that will show those gains, and not affect the reliability of the engine... |

the price is not the bad part, i would gladly pay this much, i want to see how legitimate this is. WOW if it is really 44-40, that would level us off with 330's, which in that case, if 330's got this, they might see even more gain (or maybe not, as their ECU might be slightly further tuned)
Also, What was the temperature and altitude at the time of the dyno...sounds fishy, but who knows! I am IN for one of these babies if all is true, im sure, 90% of 325 owners are too!. thats 44 ft lb's that is a BIG difference in what you will feel...:rocks: :rocks: lets see some more information on this.

Thats almost dead on with what the SoCal folks found with a 330i 6sp on their dyno day... Yes there are so many variables in the outcome, but that puts it almost dead on with the 330...

I somehow doubt they'll get the same out of the 330, but I sure hope so! |

Well, I certainly will not own the car to 100k+, but do like to stretch its legs often. I dont want that to bring in some serious probalems at 75k... |

Amazing...they've finally hacked the ECU! I too would like to know the effects of this reflash on the engine and driveline since the engine will ultimately work harder. Mad props to EVOtech!

Even if it really is +30 hp +30 lb ft they would have trouble keeping up with demand. Who is gonna be the first to try it and dyno. I'm sure we could all chip in for this persons dyno. I would.

I'm assuming these are figures on the steptronic 325i. If so, gains on the 6MT 325i will be even greater due to the reduced drivetrain loss.
That HP figure is right on par with my not-yet modded 330i, but the torque of the flashed 325i actually exceeds that of the 330i's. Quote:

Of course I understand the price difference between a flashed 325i compared to a 330i from the factory, I am just refering to the HP numbers. Danny
