NY - NJ - CT - PA Meet: Jones Beach | May 6/7: Who wants to go?

Whats the best way to get there from the Bronx? I know how to get out to Jones but not when that pkwy is closed!

Take either the whitestone or Throgs Neck bridge to the Cross Island Parkway South. Take the Grand Central parkway East (Turns into Northern State parkway in Nassau County). I forget the exit numbers, but the northern State splits into the Northern State and the Meadowbrook Parkway. Bear right onto the Meadowbrook and take that to the end. It runs right into Jones beach

Jones Beach - 12PM EST - Sunday May 7th - Lot 1 or Lot 6 if lot 1 is full...

If you have iDrive, you can just find parks and recreation areas and look for Jones Beach Amphitheater or Jones Beach State Park. Just make sure not to take the Wantagh Parkway once again.

My friend came over around 11 and just left...we just did a mini foto shoot with his Black and my White E90. Some pics came our really clean.....We should have them posted by EOD....

In any case - Ill see all of you in 10 hours.....

I couldn't make it but Adam just let me know only 6 E90s made it.

I think we need to allow for more time in between meets (given that we had just had one in April) and then more people will show hopefully.

I would also suggest a more central location, such as the Boat Basin, for next time.

When I left there were 6 e90s. As I was leaving, another one came. Total I think about 8 showed up.

There was 8 there at one point for the pics... Another black one showed up as the SG one was leaving so there were 9 there... Then following that one, Another SG one showed I think...
