So my car is here, should I wait til Tuesday to pick it up/Am I getting a good deal??

Hey guys,

MY CAR HAS ARRIVED! and is ready for pickup. Do you all think the rates will go down in April? For now I'm considering just waiting till Tuesday to see if they do, just letting my car sit there (but it kills to know its just sitting there waiting for me!!)

By the way this is the deal I'm getting, is it good? (I'm in CA)

335i Coupe
MSRP $50,100
$3,001 drive off
36mo, 12k/year
$698 inc tax

Thanks

I was under the impression that the dealer won't hold the car for you longer than 3 days before they sell it to someone else?

Dealer says its fine. I mean this is going to be the fourth car we're leasing from them in the past three years, so once I get this one that means they'll be getting money from us on 3 cars (Just turned in the X5 a few days ago, still got the 750Li and the 335 vert)--They said they would keep the car no problem and they better, or they'd be pissing off a lot of business.

I cant see why they wouldnt hold it if you need to make a deposit and fill out a credit app for the car before you can even place the order. You have to get approved by BMWF before the order is even made so in essence the car is yours.

If mine was at the dealer today I will still wait until april, I have a feeling the rates will drop on the 335XI because of spring...

Can you give us a breakdown of the drive-off amount? Also, what is the cap cost reduction/sale price of the car?

because, the dealership has to pay insurance for the car sitting on their lot. and they usually don't like to keep cars longer than necessary sitting and using up valuable space.

thats why they can't hold onto your car indefinitely. there is a time limit, some longer than others I guess.
