Speed Cam Voice alerts on BMW Professional Nav/idrive systems

they are using a proggy to allow speed cams with voice alerts, this is done by modifying the military bases POI alert voice to function when cams are approaching but at present it only works for the ibus system on BMWs

Does the BMW Nav Professional version use a similar military POI voice alert and is this something that could be modified on the idrive system?

This looks VERY interesting... The Nav DVD with camera positions is already very useful but a voice alert would be the icing on the cake, be great if this feature could work on our cars.

I don't think this will work for the E9x.

You need to have a DVD with modified POI so that it contains speed cameras.
