it's awesome, because in regard to security, no one knows what this is! Unfortunately to say, my sister has a tomtom in her e46, and she even took the windshield mount off... but the scumbag piece of shit saw the suction cup residue (i'm assuming), and smashed the window and stole it. I hope he dies of necrotizing faciitis |

You're driving a German car, not a Japanese car.

no sir... you can adjust the brightness... and at the time being, i think it's only at like 1/2, and i found that to be perfect.
the total cost, of unit and install, was approx. a few dollar under $800 |

Yes, Real Time Traffic Info. I definitely need this service in a big city with lots of rush hours. Just wondering if the port navi has something similar.

The install is a LOT cleaner than I expected. It looks very good. Props to BMW.

On a different note, how did you install your V1? It looks like you've got the power cable tucked behind the passenger visor, but I'm curious to know where you have it plugged in? I'm waiting on a new 335xi, and have a V1 in the box waiting to go!

it's not tucked behind the visor... it's actually tucked under the trip. Then i got a fuse tap, and am running a fuse from the tap. Therefore, no need to slice and splice. |

Pretty cool. Not sure I want to start pulling consoles off. I guess I'll have to deal with the wire hanging down! Thanks again.

Sorry, but that tiny screen looks gay. for that much money you can get a Garmin or Tomtom with a larger widescreen that looks 10x better and have the same or more feature.

I saw a pretty mount kit which seems no need to drill a hole in console.
