a Ryan Berger? from Santa Ana Police Department contacted me. He gave me Sue Yue Lin's # and told me to contact her to get my funds back & if there were any problems, I should recontact him. I asked him about the other people who also paid in the splitters GB and he asked if they did the FIC form... and I said I wouldn't know cause there's alot of people in the same boat. He basically told me to tell you guys to call him and/or do that form. Direct # to Ryan is 714 245 8403. If he asks you what this is regarding... tell him Trendix (he should know the name by now) and also mention my name Brian Lin and he'll probably know the situation. If you weren't part of the splitters GB you should still call and ask him what you should do.

Good stuff...I just did all the filings, I read Shragon's recommendation but I was away on vacation until today. Definitely something I'd encourage.

The number for Suyu Lin was given, and I was encouraged to call her to get my money back.

If nothing transpires within the next few weeks to let her know so that further action can be taken.

I spoke with Berger this afternoon. Tried calling Trendix and no response. At this point, the CC company has told me I am not responsible for these charges. It is a bit confusing whether or not they would prefer us to take action or just let them do their business with paypal and subsequently Trendix.

if you recieve funds from trendix, then you can always call the paypal and CC that you've resolved the dispute.

So Christina Sue Yu Lin is actually the investor that was backing up the company, thats why the company and the website domain is in her name. She said she wasn't really aware of the specifics of the problems because shes only the investor and itt is not soley her responsibility to take care of the problems of Trendixinc--which I totally agree.

I explained to her the problem with our GB and how Steve left and blah blah yada yada. I asked her if she knew Carlos, etc... she said she was aware of him but was told that he had been fired for mishandling something. She wasn't aware of the details of why exactly he was fired, but I'm guessing its because he f'd up big time with e90post. I also asked her about William and she said she knows him. From what I remember, he either just works there or is the new management.

She told me that about end of March, William was about to ship, but by that time, many people already began to dispute with the Trendix, so he didn't ship. I said I didn't know this because nobody mentioned any of this...but I guess thats why we never got our products... lack of communication.

I told her about how the manager of the Santa Ana suites said that he suspected that they abandoned the place and that somebody mentioned that they had moved to another address in Vista, CA. I gave her that address, because she's trying to find William too. I asked for William and Carlos's # but since Carlos was fired, I figured ah well wtf why do I need his #... talk to William and get this shit figured. Apparently, William hasn't been answering her calls either... so I figured fuck this I won't want to go back and forth between people... She also mentioned that they were changing #s alot so she wasn't sure which #s could actually reach him... and now that we have an explanation, we should be telling our Santa Ana officer to find William.

I suggest for those of you planning to call her... I wouldn't go up flaring. She's actually a pretty understanding person and is sorry for Trendixinc's mistakes. Shes actually out of town for the month--I don't know where exactly but she said she doesn't always get reception. Her advice is first of all to dispute with the CC's and Paypal. I asked her about those who used checking accounts and cash-money order--I wasn't sure how many people actually used those two methods or similar methods, so I didn't really expect a good answer. She didn't reallly say much but she just wants us to dispute over CC. She wants to settle this as much as we do cause this puts her in shit when its not entirely her fault anyways. Our leads all point to her because she is the investor, when in fact we should be putting William on the stake until we have reasons to suspect otherwise...

if you guys have any questions... shoot... i probably left a few things out... i cant remember them without questions...

but for one thing... we need to find this William guy... i'll be calling Ryan again... probably on Saturday--I have finals on Friday (x2), Saturday, and Tuesday, so I won't have alot of time until after my Saturday final.

I dunno Brian, she may be just an investor but she owns the company and must take all final responsibility, she can't just pass the buck.

I also don't buy the part about how William was all set to ship all the ordered products and cancelled out because we raised hell. They had AMPLE opportunity to keep their customers informed. The had AMPLE opportunities to respond to the many concerns and queries. Instead they jumped ship, pulled their website, cleared out their location etc.

To me her responses are not remotely satisfactory, she's not off the hook. Its just another sorry ass Trendix excuse much like Carlos' sob story BS

Shes not off the hook yet, but I think we need to find William first... if she is actually telling the truth--I'd like to hope so... we'd have to find William anyways because he was the one handling the products.

I disagree, we don't have to find William. To me its between this Christina character and the Santa Ana police department. That's what we have, and that's what we should push.
