Wiper scratched the windshield

guys

i replaced my e90 323i 2010's wiper bladed couple of months back. bought the replacement blades from supercheap auto. the brand in tridon.

last couple of weeks or so it was making a scratchy sound when the driver side blade reaches the end of the windscreen.

so, today when i had a close look at it found out that it is actually scratched few places on the windshield.

should have had a look at it earlier. but its done now.

had a look at the blades and blade doesnt look wrong. i mean, there is no hard stuff on the wiper blade that can scratch the glass.

do you reckon its better to change the blades? any idea what else it can be?

is there any better brand of wiper i can buy?

the pair costed me $78.

thanks

$78 is pricy! Wouldn't hurt to chanfe them for the peace of mind but I can't imagine a wiper so hard it would scratch glass. Maybe you had a rock stuck in there?

ummm.... actually the scratch is almost length wise of the blade. thats the strange thing.

and today it was raining really heavy. so, i cleaned up the blade and then started driving and same thing again.

when touching the blade i did not feel any coarse surface at all.

i think i should buy another pair to se how it goes.

what brand should i buy? i am not going to buy another pair of tridon.

is bosch good?

is bmw oem wiper blades available anywhere?

Wow that's very weird. Yes my dealer sells wiper blades, but I'm sure bosch would work fine and may be the OE supplier.
