Have always really wondered what my car is worth. It is a salvage title from being a theft recovery. No accidents. 137,000 miles. Mechanically in very good condition. Body is a 8/10. Interior is 9/10 with new rubber bmw floor mats, zhp shift knob. Has resonator deleted with magnaflow muffler and 3" double walled tips. 20% ceramic tint. 12" sub and amp. Cdv deleted, charcoal filter deleted. Otherwise stock. What's it worth? What would you pay?

How much do you think your car is worth? I see some pros and cons...

Pros: e91, 6MT, Sport

Cons: color, XI, Pre LCI, Salvage

I honestly don't know. For me, i'd pay 4-5k, maybe more depending on what's on the market and how desperate I am for a vehicle.

I'd like your honest assessment of it Barrique91

These cars are getting harder and harder to find, but in some scenarios i don't know...I just recently bought a new project e91 that I got shipped from the East Coast and it's similar to yours (Not what I really wanted in an e91, but I wanted a new project and the price was right).

It was a 2006 e91 325xi 6MT in sparkling graphite with about 178k on it. Clean title for $4,600.

When I got it it was rusted to shit though. Had to replace a lot of suspension pieces (was going to do that anyway) and other stuff I have to address, but it's on 4 jackstands in my garage and i'm working on it little by little when I have time because I already daily a e91 with a m3 front end conversion. I'm also doing the oem e90 m3 front end conversion on this one as well...

I thought 4,600 was a killer deal, but shortly after I bought it there were several that popped up with 6MT for cheaper and closer. One redeyejedi found was about 2k or so for a salvaged e91 6MT.

It all depends on timing. If you put yours up for sale and there are other options out there you'll get a LOT less. Even if yours in the only one, you'd might have to find the right buyer. Are you thinking about selling it?

Around 4-5k sounds about right. But I have to say the color is a pro, at least to me. I'm planning on keeping this car for a very long time, I don't think I'm selling it anytime soon. I just wanted to see what fellow enthusiasts valued it at. I appreciate your response and looking forward to photos of your new car.

Yeah. Like I said you'd have to wait for the right buyer because the color isn't for everyone, but someone could be dead set on that color.

I doubt I'll sell any of my e91s. I made the mistake earlier by selling a 6MT e91 with the OEM m3 front end conversion and it was definitely a mistake. A few years later, I'm back in 2 e91s lol.

I'm gonna keep them forever. I don't see anything in the market that interests me. Something that did interest me was the 4 series grand coupe 4 door, but after realizing that none were made in a manual transmission that immediately got crossed off of my list.

There's just something about a m3 front end conversion e91 that no other car can come close to.

EDIT: My only worry is someone wrecking my car and the insurance co trying to give me kbb values for it. Our cars are in a very niche market. Even Automatic e91s are pretty easy to come by and can be had for dumb cheap.

Exactly. Nothing new is interesting. When I think of "what if I got a ____", nothing compares when you weigh out pros and cons. The e91 is a really great car with the 6 speed and naturally aspirated 6 cylinder. I really love this car and considering how good of a deal I got it for, I'll probably just upgrade things instead of buying a new car. If you ever think of getting rid of your e91 again, just remember there will probably never again be a good handling, 6 speed manual, bmw wagon again

LOL, yeah you can say that, but there are still 2009, 2010, 2011 e91s out there with 6MT.

Currently that market is either a little too expensive, or they are just asking absurd crackhead prices for it.

As time goes on and those LCI e91s get older and higher in mileage, the price will come down as well. If I were to get a newer car in the future, it'll probably be a LCI e91.

EDIT: and convert that LCI front end into an OEM m3 lol

Yeah, I think $8500 is pretty optimistic. If it wasn't a salvage title, that'd be about right, but I think you're better off keeping it if you like it.

GLWS man.

Also what could you possibly be moving on to from this?

The trim has held up ok. I would do it much better next time. Thanks for the compliments. I am looking to buy a 01-04 manual 4x4 Tacoma. I would like to be able to go anywhere and I can't own both.
