Rear ball joint

hey guys,

Doing a rear ball joint on my buddies 328i this week: part # 3 on here

seems straight forward, already have the tool and the part. Was going to use this http://www.beisansystems.com/procedu..._procedure.htm as a guide, but wondering if you guys have any tips/tricks/links of suggestions?

Thanks!
Matthew

How many miles are on is car and what are the symptoms he is getting? I have not heard of anyone replacing the rear ball joints.

Did one about a month ago. Just deteriorated and got water in it somehow and rusted..it was squeaking like crazy.

Nothing special, used a balljoint puller on the car, pressed it out and pressed the new one in.

I'd like to know if anyone has done this with a universal ball joint puller/press tool, and link me if so.

Thanks
