Brake Fluid: ATE Type 200 vs. Motul DOT 5.1

Need to change my brake fluid soon. Was wondering which one people recommend? I was thinking between the ATE Type 200 or the Motul 5.1. ATE just seems to be harder to find locally. What do people perfer?

I went with Motul 5.1 given that the viscosity is much lower than other "high performance" brake fluids, especially in low temps:

Just went with the ATE Type 200 based off of reviews and my feedback from Turner.

ATE Super 200 - DOT 4 - 536ºF (280ºC) / 382ºF (194ºC)
vs
Motul DOT 5.1 - DOT 5.1 - 509ºF (265ºC) / 365ºF (185ºC)

Considering ATE is half the price I struggle to see the dilemma

I use the ATE Type 200 with very good results. For primary street application use the other thing to consider, which in my mind is just as important as the boiling point is the moisture absorption rate of the brake fluid. Most race application brake fluids have a very high moisture absorption rate, which means the brake fluid absorbs moisture quickly and has to be changed more frequently, and as the moistures builds up the boiling point goes down (wet boiling point) and the risk of corrosion goes up.

For me the 2 bottles of Motul DOT 5.1 cost a little less than the ATE Type 200...

Probably going to stick with the ATE but just harder to find locally.

I just got mine from Turner Motorsports. Arrived in 3 days. Just order 2 extra every time so you there's no need to wait

What good are those specs when the fluid will be used in a street car? As mentioned, I'd be more interested in moisture absorption rate and viscosity.

That's why I went with ATE 200 because its moisture absorption rate is similar to BMW brake fluid.
