I've read through the forums about fitment issues with Duke Dynamics products. Hit or miss really, as far as the carbon fiber diffuser for Mtech rear is concerned. I decided to take my chances on them anyhow seeing as that they make the best looking diffuser in my opinion.
After installation, I did notice some issues with how flush the diffuser sits. Nothing really noticeable by looking at it unless you are scrutinizing the piece itself. Overall I'm very happy with the way it looks and satisfied with the fitment overall. You be the judge.. |

i have the DD rear. it was a pain in the ass for my bodyshop to install. looks great and all but i'm waiting for the day for someone to tap my rear bumper and for it to shatter. i'd suggest checking ******'s kit:
http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=180089 its abs and pp. should be much more resilient than fiberglass. idk about how their fitment is but you run some shitty fitment w/ DD anyway so its worth a shot. btw i have saph black too so here is an idea of how it'll come out. i can post more pix if you want. just lmk

I was one of the first to have the DD kit on my E90. I don't recommend it. I had it installed but removed it because of fitment. The only part I have left is the rear bumper, but the quality is poor. I would suggest just getting OEM M-tech because you know for sure they have perfect fitment. Here are my pictures. Notice the gap between the front bumper and fender.
Also, I would not ask them to paint it then ship. You can never trust the packaging and delivery people. The paint will get scratched. |

No aftermarket handmade cottage industry fibreglass part can fit better than OEM pieces that were made by injection moulding, from the same type of polyurethane material as in the stock pieces, using precision moulds developed by factory engineers utilizing state of the art CAD/CAM equipment, based on original design blueprints, period.
Besides, there is a lot more going on underneath the body kit, especially at the front. There are brake and oil cooling issues behind the lower grill that you do not want to mess around with. The OEM kit includes all the proper air ducts, and everything is engineered to fit and to channel air to where it matters. If you want quality product and exact fit, stick with OEM all the way. That's what I did.

You get what you pay for and if your paying for FRP junk, that is what you get - it is cheap and very easily damaged - a light tap on oem stuff might make a scuff, FRP is pretty much destroyed! Search the forum, there are dozens of threads on poor fitment and none on how great the stuff is.
Buy this guys stuff for sale - pretty much giving it away - $500 for the front mint painted - they cost $500 to paint! http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...highlight=duke

Since you are in Europe, why don't you just buy the OEM M-Tech kit?
