Must be one of those Aussies with fierce German pride.
It's not hard to guess that 90% of the car is made in any other country but Germany. Both of you miss the point completely.

I think you'll find its closer to 75% parts from Germany. In any case, relax man. We're just screwing with you a little because you specifically called them German turbos and we are girlfriendless geeks who know unimportant pieces of information about other people's cars. Don't change your sig just for us. You do you. Ignore the haters.

Interesting. Made me actually look for it. Found this. The 2009 335i for the US/Canada market was 70%.

As stated the remaining bits are jap, Chinese and EU countries. Some Brake components for example are Lithuanian.

All German spec for whatever that means in this day and age.

My sig is a statement of how my car makes me feel. A fact that factoids miss when they read it. I 'do me' just fine and have done for decades. Thanks for caring.

I did however find and talk to the original leasee who was more than happy to give me details and the history on the car. I ended up buying it CPO + 1year factory warranty left with 29k miles for less than 30k.

Glad i went the CPO/warranty route, Im sure they've put in 7-10k into this car since ive had it.

Mine is a 2009 335i mSport. Individual sound, active cruise with the DCT box. When new it would have cost the original owner north of 6 figures and firmly into M3 territory. I picked it up used with 60000 kms for less than the cost of a stock golf. DPs, intercooler, MHD, M Performance brakes. I'm a happy boy. Ms feel different to drive in my humble opinion.

6 figures what?!?! pesos? Certainly not dollars.

I think something is wrong with your camera, the image looks flipped. Your steering wheel is on the wrong side.

Luxury car import tax. Everything is backwards here down under.

This is currently the cheapest M2 in Oz
https://www.carsales.com.au/private/...SSE-AD-4543268

My friend is selling a mint 1M with less than 7000 kms for north of 90k AUD right now

Interesting. Perhaps it was a sedan vs coupe or model year build difference.
