Front Ball Joint on Xi rusted and Stuck!!

Hey so I’m having trouble getting my ball joint out of my car. I have tried everything. I have taken both screws that go into the ball joint and I have literally dented the top of the ball joint trying to hit it out and push it out. Any new ideas? I have broken the rubber on the ball joint so I don’t think I can just put everything back together and drive 45mins to get it somewhere where they can get it off. I have been stuck on this for a long time now. Any help would be appreciated!

This has been covered many many times! Only chisel (air hammer) will take that out.

Torch with yellow gas, heat up up to red, glowing hot. Then apply chisel with an 8# mini sledge hammer. Or use an air hammer.

Make sure the car is really secure if your on jack stands before hammering away.

what he said. I had to use a torch for most screws on my 335xi, they are extremely rusted when first time removed. Always use new bolts and nuts also...

I would try the ball joint press you can get at your local o'reilly, autozone, etc. And have a good 1/2 in high torque impact wrench. I don't think hand tools will cut it. Also, shout out to my hometown. Can't say I miss dealing with the salt and rust. Although we still get some in PNW in mountains, so I'm not totally immune.
