Rear knuckle upper control arm thread damaged

Trying to troubleshoot for a bent arm tonight I ended up crossthreading where the upper control arm connects. Inserted the bolt at a bad angle, wasn't paying attention, and started cranking away, almost immediately going tight.

Figuring I have nothing to lose I threw the bolt back in the bad side and it appears to thread in straight under force but didn't get far.

It does not appear the knuckle is threaded all the way through the other end of the hole, and I could not run a bolt through the opposite side (correct me if this is not really the case).

So, the threads are damaged at the first few turns, possibly less than a 1/4 of the way in, do I have any other options beside getting a new knuckle?
