But thanks to the feedback from actual owners who have had it done and Simon's insight I am now more knowledgable on the whole process. Thanks guys.

Here we are again - the morning after the night before!

Guys, here's something very interesting from Pistonheads which I think is particularly relevant to this thread...

Just had my 335D remapped by Jason at B&W (Chipped UK agent), he's put a special one off map in for my runs at Fighting Torque -

http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/gassing...&t=390419&i=0#

but he is going to put a slightly less powerful map in after the event for normal road use.

All I can say is that the car is ballistic! (and that's coming from tuned B5 S4's and Cerbera 4.5's)"

...and here's the Autocar video

Sounded like fun. we're STILL waiting on some council somewhere to make a decision over whether we can do something similar in the new year.

At a track we all know and love/hate

So the ''re-mapped'' 335d beat a an e39 m5, tvr's, monaro and rs4's

pretty impressive, what map was it he ran? same as e-maps or alot more aggressive?

It was done by Chipped UK, so I presume it's similar to e-maps.
