I live in San Francisco, so I plan on burning the 2011 West Maps for my 08 iDrive.
If I wanted the east maps too is there a way to load both at the same time? prob not im guessing.

its the only software that was able to do it for me. Ive tried Roxio (for mac) and failed.

be sure when you burn it with "freeisoburner" choose the slowest burning speed. then you should be ok

Thx man. I burned it and it works perfectly! Still cant find my local Lucky's which is 3 mins away. oh well.

I used Roxio and it burned perfectly. I used a DVD+R and burned at 4x speed. Took 10 mins.

When I went from '07 to '10, I noticed a lag navigating through menu. The 11 disc doesn't have that problem. It looks and feels just like the '10 disc, but with added roads, and for my case, it runs faster.

Downloaded the East torrent unzipped it, have it in an iso file and burned it to a TDk DVD + and the car isnt recognizing it. I have a 08 328xi coupe. I eject the old nav dvd insert burned copy, turn the car on wait and hit nav and it says please insert nav dvd. Any ideas or suggestions?

The BMW drives are picky. Sometimes it takes a few burns to get one the drive will like. Some people say burning them at the lowest speed helps. Others say different media work better. A good blast through the slot with a dust-off can probably can't hurt.

try using imgburn to burn the ISOs. I burned to a verbatim dvd-r at max speed on a samsung burner and worked fine, as did the 2010, 2009 and 2008.
