Possible bad wheel bearing? Any input appreciated.

Passenger rear side has this squealing noise (think brake squeal) consistently from 1-20mph then seems to go away. Also under load, like turning left putting pressure on that side.

I took the pads out and they look ok, about 35-40% left, and rotors show no scoring or anything. I put some CRC Disc Brake Quiet on the backs of the pads and it didn't help, and I truly didn't think it would but I figured I'd try.

This noise happens when I have ZERO pressure on the brakes.

Thanks in advance!

Aside from some people saying new pads solved this for some time, which doesn't make much sense since i'm not hitting my brakes when this happens, other threads show people recommending the pad sensor gets replaced.

Where can I buy this sensor?

Ive had wheel bearing failures in other cars and the sound they made was very loud hum.
Think of riding a car through very rough pavement, on bald tires. Except this noise is all the time and increases as speed increases.

Just saying it probably isnt a wheel bearing.

I'd agree. Just replaced bearings in my other vehicle and the problem manifested as a low hum and vibration.

Does the noise go away when you press the brake? If so if is brake related. Could also be parking brake, which you would have to remove the rotor to check.

Thanks for the replies guys.

It's hard to confirm, but it does seem to deaden down when brake pressure is applied. I'm going to order new pads, and sensors, and see if that works.

After some further reading i'm leaning away from it being a bearing.

But, with the wheel off yesteray, and caliper pads off the rotor, it seemed gritty when I manually rotated the rotor, and didn't really feel smooth while turning. Handbrake was off as well. This may be normal i'm not sure.
