Going with this same set of performance mods.. AR Design catless downpipes coupled with the Helix front mount intercooler from the group buy.

I'll be writing a detailed review on my downpipes as soon as I receive them from AR

I believe AR + Helix is the magic combination here, based off the glowing praise I've read on the forums.

Just got a 0-60 in 4.09s with 60' of 2.001s on 97 octane and map5. I bet I'll get to 3.8s. These tires are quite sticky. At this acceleration though, I just cant really tell the difference between 0.1s in a 0-60.

The fun that I'll be having in the next few years outweighs the likely hood that it will come up in the next 2 years. Unless I want to go for the extended and pay more, but I've owned a few beemers that had between 30K-90K miles and never had any problems besides normal maintenance, brakes, belts, hoses, normal wear and tear items. This sucker is turbo so I know there are more parts that can go, but you'd be waiting forever for the warranty to end.

I think BMW should still replace HPFP's up to 100k miles anyway as it is a known confirmed problem which is NO fault of the owner. I believe they covered the 2001-2003 e46 M3 motors up to 100K miles because there was a known problem with the crank caps cracking or bearings going.

I'd HIGH-5 ya if I could !!!! Enjoy.

To the OP, congrats and you're about a month ahead of me. I went with wheels and tires right out of the gate. Then my software tune about 6 months ago, then DCI and I just received the UUC Evo3 SSK today. After I install that tomorrow it's FMIC and downpipes!!!

Then exhaust. Then I'll take a little rest from tuning, shred my Michelin PS2's and wait for Shiv's meth kit.

I'm with MrZippy: I don't give 2 flying f**ks about BMWNA's warranty and want to enjoy this thing while I have it. I've already had a couple of warranty claims - both involving someone at the dealership driving my car after dropoff to verify - and they haven't said anything. If they do, I'll wrangle with the issue then. Carpe diem baby.
