#$^%& SNOW!!!!

Well guys, there rumors are official...Dinan is here TODAY!
I just got a call from my dealer telling me he has the software and is able to program cars NOW!!!!!
It's $1999 plus one hour install. 385hp confirmed. Dinan warranty is same length as new car warranty.

I told him I'll be right over, then I looked outside and it's Fukn' snowing! So I had to reschedule for next week.

Edit: last february, I TOTALED my '05 M3 on black ice. I was lucky to walk away. So I don't mess with snow/ice unless I'm in my jeep. Dinan may have to wait til spring for me

He's right! Just talked to a Dinan Rep in Houston and he said all Dinan Authorized dealers will have the cards by Monday, December 10th!

I almost ran down a defenseless stop sign yesterday because SD (yes people live there) doesn't use road salt and 300+ hp + snow = a bit more wheel spin than my mustang gave me.

Hmm, 385 @ the crank...which is like ~345 at the wheels...

vs

~380 @ the WHEELS with a V2...and most likely considerably better top-end torque.

Yeah...

Flemington BMW use to have an authorized Dinan dealer, but not sure if they still do.

What dealer were you referring to around Philly? Not that I'm ina rush to pay $1000 more than a procede, for much less power, but...just curious since there is apparently a Dinan friendly dealer around us.
Thanks

Thanks
Thompson BMW........they are one of Dinan's biggest dealers on east coast. Ask for Dan in parts. While we are on the subject, they are just a great dealer all around.....check em out. www.1800thompson.com

They are located in Doylestown, PA.

Cool, thanks. I'm a happy Otto's customer as of now. Doyelstown is a bit of a hike for me....bought my WRX up that way at Bean's Suby.

Dinan if for a enthusiast that wants to have power, the other upgrades are for hardcore enthusiast who want to tune their cars and most want the ability to actually work on their cars themselves...For example actually installing the piggyback system and as for V2 tuning the car with the torque setting, updating new maps, datalogging performance etc....Jb2 allowing user to switch from race gas to pump gas or even adding extra psi boost when u want...Dinan is just a ecu flash and its done...no much of a hardcore enthusiast tune in my opinion....I for one like to fiddle with the motor, change my oil, check my logs with my computer with the V2...Dinan is definately not for me!!! I don't have that much money to burn!!!! lolo

Yeah...
V2 not 100% stable,on its 500th map,not shipping and has pretty much an open exhust with catts removed.

dinan stock car with more room for power with an exh and cat delete+keep warenty.

You better reread DINAN's warranty. Adding exhaust components other than DINAN's will give them the ability to void their warranty. DINAN+warranty doesn't make sense unless you plan to use ALL their stuff or keep the rest stock.
