Vanos at idle

I have a request. Could someone take a log at idle, including vanos req/act for both exhaust and intake and post a datazap here for me? I want to check something.

Really? You don't have these? Huh, wonder if it's an MSD81 thing that I do?

I am not currently. I'm actually a senior CS major at UMBC. Living in Arbutus at the moment, but I am there fairly frequently. Where about are you? Awesome to see other MD folk here!

That's awesome! You wouldn't happen to have an unpainted M Aero lip, would you? Seen a silver E92 with one quite a few times

Noticing minor hickups at idle, no codes and so far the 2 passengers I've had can't notice. I took a couple logs of it happening, only thing abnormal I could notice was my vanos. Intake was a straight line req/act were both straight lines, though about 1 unit apart. Exhaust was pretty much right on request, but there were small spikes, and based on the frequency of the hiccups, I believe that may be the cause. Figured if I could check a few others logs, I could confirm if it were the case or not. AFR does appear to oscillate just a tad but stays around 14.7 for the most part so didn't think much of it.

Anyway, here's my log if anyone wishes to take a peek.

https://datazap.me/u/e92dave/idle-hi...&data=3-22

Now that it's on datazap I can see that the manifold vacuum is "fluctuating" .1psi. Of course I don't have throttle angle logged so I can't see if that's just due to idle control or not.

Once in a while i have oscillating idle. I would chalk it to unclean intake valves. So thats one possibility
If you logged throttle my guess is it oscillates w rpm and “boost” or in this case intake manifold vacuum supplying more or less air as required.
The idle rpm seems a little high? May be tweaked thru mhd. Think mine is stock idle like 650 or 660
Intake valve seems flat not oscillating

Correct, I have it set to 700. I'll try switching back and see what happens.

Yes, this was one reason I wanted to see a log. Wasn't sure if it should look similar to the exhaust, or if exhaust should look like intake or if they're just normal

The commanded intake value at idle from tunerpro tables is 126.4, and exh is 130.4. Intake is pretty righton, exh seems a little off but donr think matters
Ps, no mye92 is spc gry w red int. E60 is blue
