Anybody running 16 inch summer wheels/tyres (205/55/16)? OEM or AFTERMARKET?
Just wondering if anyone on this forum is running 16 inch summer tyres?
Does anyone have style 268's on an m sport sedan with photos or just photos of any 16's on their sedans? I can't seem to find anyone running 16's on this forum, it feels like doing so is some kind of taboo. It's just that the style 268s are hella cheap and light. Im planning on getting 268's and spacing them out on my car with spacers and the coils. Thanks! |

i would say that in europe majority of the 320d 320i 318 316 e9x small engine bmw run 16 summer tires due economy because they are used as a company cars and so on
but obviosly they are not so pretty looking because the wheel size dramatically increase car outlook the classic 32 style is good looking almost in any size

Here's some - they look fine if a bit smaller than you're probably used to:
I always find it funny comparing my e92 to my e30 - the 18s look about right on the e92 (16s would look small), while the 16s I have on my e30 look big! To get the same feeling on the e92 it would need 19s. |

After hours of searching I finally found an image. Heres a comparison between the style 268 and the style 194m. I wonder if the 268 will look a bit better with spacers and some mild lowering (kw v3 max height)? What do yall think? Will this make my 325i 2.5L feel more fun to drive especially around mountain passes?

I've got 16's on my car, mostly because I'm cheap and extra sidewall is nice for our crappy roads. They're style 134's off of an E60. There's a bit more offset than the stock E9x 16's, I think they look alright. Sorry for the grainy pic, I thought the composition was good, but my iPhone 6 just didn't want to deal with the dusk lighting.
If I find a good deal on a set of 157s or 286s though I might go back to 17's. |
