Need help with this 328!

Hey guys, so I recently sold my '08 g37, and was looking to turn to the bimmer side! Well I don't know much about bmw's and was looking to get some expert opinions on this 328 I found for my daily driver. Its everything I wanted, 6MT, white, and with navigation. Only thing I'm worried about is buying from this dealership (Selden Motors), rather than a dealership like BMW. Anything in particular that I should look for? Opinions? Thanks guys

No matter what, get a Pre-purchase inspection and have your mechanic keep an eye out for oil on the eccentric shaft sensor and oil leaks from the oil filter housing gasket, valve cover gasket, and oil pan gasket. But generally, knowing the cars maintenance history is a huge plus. Valve cover gasket is a big job if you can't diy ($600+), oil pan gasket is easily $1200+ with labor and very hard to DIY, oil filter housing gasket is not too bad and an easier DIY (not sure on price with labor). Eccentric shaft sensor is an expensive part ($300-ish), plus the labor can total $600+

You are looking at a car that is just getting to the point that parts are worn and will need replacing. As long as you have the pockets to fix the issues (that will pop-up) then you should be good to go.

I picked up a 2007 328xi wagon with 100k in October and have done a ton of work on it. I love the car and have DIY'd everything so I have saved a bunch on labor. While others may be frustrated with the problems, I like that I am taking a car beyond this hump in its life and I hope to get a good 5+ years out of all the work/fixes I've done.

Are you sure you want to go down that much in power? The G37 is noticeably faster then the 328i.
