Any other parts needed for upgraded turbos?

140k miles
Fbo jb4 map 5

Original turbos have done a valiant job but are rattling up a storm and they are sticking open and then limp on the rare stab the go pedal

Would get something stage 2 although I only want 500hp or so

Question is : What other parts or pieces do I need to
Install upgraded turbos? Will they come w kits?

If you don't have inlets, this would be the time to get them when you install upgraded twins. Be sure to order an installation gasket kit when you order as well. Since you will be dropping the subframe to install turbos, you might as well check the oil pan gasket for any leaks and replace accordingly.

I'd recommend inlets/outlet and stage 2 lpfp. Wouldn't hurt to get some eldor coils and n20 plugs

Inlets. Outlets are optional -easy to install at the time though. Change vac lines while at it. Easy access to waterpump/thermostat if you're near expected end of life.

LPFP.

Always upgrade for the future. You might find yourself getting bored with 500 hp and wishing you went with a complete build

If going stage 2 turbos, you will need new coils & plugs. Eldor coils are the newest. NKG step 2 colder plugs gapped at .018 is advisable. Stage 2 LPFP has s a must. The OEM LPFP won't be able to keeps up with stage 2 turbos.

Are you sure the upgraded inlets you bought will fit your new turbos? if they are stock sized, they may not if the upgraded twins you buy have 2" inlets.
