FS: Black 189 Winter Set W/Blizzak's, NE-NH/MA **SOLD**
The 328's gone but i still have a set of winters used for one season in 2010-jan/feb 2011. Because of the the mild "winter" we experienced this past winter in New England, I didn't even bother mounting it. Looking for $800 OBO, buyer is responsible for shipping, PM for UPS/FEDEX estimate. Local pickup in New England preferred. Details: Black Style 189 OEM Wheels, slightly glossy due to a coat of enamel Blizzak LM60's, 225/40/18's on all corners TPMS not included OEM Center Caps included It does have a few nicks and rash as of now, and some plastic bag that melted on one of the rears... Pics of when it's installed: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=475012 Vid of tires in action: Fronts: Rears Last edited by WingZeroX5; 10-02-2012 at 02:08 PM.. |

I've literally been waiting for this exact setup to surface for my winter wheels. Few questions... Are these powder coated, and also how much tread left?

No, these are not powder coated. I picked up the rims a few years when I first got the car and they were pretty well rashed. I just followed the DIY from the forum and fixed it up to the best I could. I didn't really care if it was perfect or not because my intention was to only use it for the winter. Tread depth is around 8/32s? I don't have a tread gauge but the tires cover a hair below half of the Lincoln memorial I'll provide close up pics |

Ok and any chance you'd want to part just the wheels? Only reason I'm thinking about doing that is I feel like snow tires on an xdrive car is overkill and unnecessary. I'm thinking about running all seasons as my winter setup so I still get great traction with xdrive but when theres no snow they handle a lot better than winters.

I'm in but I would only do that if i can find the all seasons i want for similar or less than i could buy this full set. I'm going to make a WTB thread and if it doesn't work i'll probably just buy this set sometime this week if they're still for sale.
Edit: OP can you take some pictures of the rear tires showing how much the tire is stretched. I really don't like stretched look so because the wheels are staggered i'm worried about how the rears look. Thanks!

Sure I'll split it if someone take the wheels, but add on the cost of breaking them, or split the cost with whoever is taking the wheels

But here you go! Tire on the left is the rear, the right is for comparison and OE fitment for 225 width. |

Had they had the tpms sensors I would of bought them. Having the light on my dash and warning in my idrive would drive me nuts. Been looking for a set of oem black wheels for a while

When they were on my car, I get thrown an error everytime the car starts and the TPMS light comes on. I had the TPMS on its way, but due to the snowstorm that was coming I never got it mounted. But I got over the light always showing as it didn't bother me that much and eventually sold the sensors. |
