Sounds VERY high, he probably doesn't want to mess with it since it's such a small job. Those guys are slammed with high $ repair business.

Give them a call or visit. Euro Pros quoted just $150 to prep and paint the Arkym lip. I'm going to get another full mold quote from D&V. Although from IMing others with flush molded lips, $1700 isn't insanely high.

They did my msport front bumper and did a fantastic job!
