Question Hail Storm = Dents What to do.

2-3 weeks ago we had a hail storm, dropping hail the size of golf balls.
Since then I have noticed dents all over the car. Majority of them on the trunk lid and maybe a handful on the roof and hood. What should I do? The dents are probably too small to claim or get removed.??

What should I do?

Claim it on your insurance and then get paintless dent removal. It happened to me in Colorado a few years back. Many cars were damaged and this is the best way to fix it. Still not too late to claim it. I had about $2500 in damage.

I know a bunch of people that carry sheets of cardboard in their trunks just for this reason. Whenever it looked like hail was coming, they'd put the cardboard over their hood, trunk, and roof.

Try dry ice. If the dents are small and the metal not too badly stretched you might get lucky and "pop" the dents out.
