$400 + install cost seems like a lot for 5hp near redline.

The Valvetronic power plants don't even use the throttle body unless there is a problem. Obviously, the one that is present restricts extreme high end flow... 5hp on a 325i is like a 2% gain up top... I wonder if this would hurt the low end at all due to reduced velocities at lower engine speeds?

I don't think this is worth the money.

The intake manifold is the obvious restriction....not the throttle body. It would be sweet to see an aftermarket triple-stage manifold & chip to control it.....I know, wishful thinking.
