The struggles of a black car and dark wheels. Which is why I have a white car and didn't go with Satin Black wheels. Lol.

Take pics with the sun behind you, and avoid a background brighter than your subject's area. The camera will try meter the whole frame and that brightness will kill the exposure.

Most people have probably already seen these on my IG, but I'll post here too.

Hi guys, I just bought my new car 335i 2009.
I'm trying to change the look of the car to make more aggressive.
And I'm looking at wheels and I'm kind of liking
The APEX and I have a couple sit and I don't know which one is going to fit and I'm looking for a suggestion. I'm going with ARC-8
Option (1)
(F) 19x8.5 ET20
(F) 19x9" ET22
(R) 19x9.5 ET 22 OR ET33
Option (2)
(F) 19x9.5 ET22 OR ET33
(R) 19x10 ET25
OR
(R) 19x10.5 ET22
Also what tires & size to go with the set?!
Lowered on H&R Sport springs.
I'm looking forDirect fit no modifications required. And if there's any what should I be wearing of ?!

i think you have to go with 19x9.5 et 33 and 255 or 265 tire if you dont want any rubbing in the back...im sure an apex expert will chime in soon with the "official" ruling

Thanks for the post! Of the sizes you mentioned, there is not an ideal front fitment listed, since those sizes are pretty aggressive. The best recommendation would be the following:

Front: 19x8.5" ET20 with 235/35-19 tires
Rear: 19x9.5" ET33 with 255/30-19 tires
- Will require front negative camber for fender clearance.

Take a look at our fitment guide to get a better idea of what we typically recommend: https://support.apexraceparts.com/hc...-Fitment-Guide

Thanks!

F: 18x9.5" ET22
R:18x10.5' ET27

OR

F: 18x9.5" ET22
R:18x10 ET25

which one would be a fit for E92 335i coupe 09

Aggressive, would need a lot of camber and rolled/pulled fenders if you want to run normal sized ties. I had 18x9et30 and 18x9.5et22 on my '09 coupe and I thought the fitment was perfect. I was running -3 degrees camber in the rear and had the fenders rolled. I was lowered on KW coilovers and only rubbed under extreme conditions (e.g. big dips with people in the car).

Yep, this is exactly what we'd recommend for an aggressive 'street' fitment. The 9.5" ET33 or ET35 can be used in the rear to maximize tire width, but the ET22 gives a more aggressive stance and requires a slightly narrower tire.

The 19x8.5" ET22 can work up front, but is aggressive and requires a narrow tire and negative camber in order to prevent rubbing on the fender. The wheel sits pretty far out, which lets a lot of inner fender space go to waste. This is why we recommend the 19x9" ET28 front fitment.

well that's good to know,

so the prefect fitment will be either one of these:

F:19x9" ET28
R:19x9.5" ET22

OR

F:19x8.5" ET20
R:19x9.5" ET33

AND can you tell which ONE is MORE aggressive

lower offsets are more aggressive / stick out more... so et20 sticks out more than et28

Thanks Shanker!

When comparing the 19x8.5 ET20 and the 19x9 ET28, the 19x9 ET28 will offer 14mm LESS clearance on the strut side, and the outside edge of the wheel will RETRACT (sit inward) 2mm.

So the 19x8.5 ET20 will sit further out, but keep in mind that 2mm is negligible in terms of fitment on a stock car.

The 19x9 ET28 will allow for a larger tire, so there is a performance advantage to be had there too!

Thanks Max,

How about these sit for E92 335i coupe what do you think
Keep in mind I have H&R Sport springs

F:19x8.5"ET20
R:19x9.5" ET22 is that would be better fit from ET33 what do you think?
AND what size of tires i should run?

Instead from these sit

F:19x9" ET28
R:19x9.5" ET22

Mo-787,

We would recommend the following fitment for your application:

Front: 19x8.5" ET20 with 235/35-19 tires
Rear: 19x9.5" ET33 with 255/30-19 tires
- Will require front negative camber for fender clearance.

The 19x9.5 ET22 will require fender work and will rub without any fender work.

Best,
- Max

Hi Apex guys!

I'm seeking some fitment advice for an LCI E90. It will be lowered 1"-1.5", but the dampers and springs are still TBD. It'll also see a bit of highway use so hoping to not have to run excessive camber....preferably only 1-1.5 degrees, but I may consider more if need be. Hoping not to roll the fenders, but may consider it, as well.

Now the fun stuff... In a perfect world, I'd fit:
18x9.5 front with 235/40-18
18x10.5 rear with 265/35-18

From what I've seen, it appears the front is okay as others have done it many times before, but let me know if you feel otherwise.

In the rear I feel my goals are unrealistic and it'll rub quite a bit. If so, do I need to drop down to a 10" wide wheel? A 255/35 tire? Both? Otherwise, what would it take to get a 265 on a 10.5 to fit without rubbing?

I'm interested in hearing your thoughts. Thanks in advance!
Tommy

Im running 10 inch rears with no rubbing on lci e93. No fender work either. Straight fitment and car very low. However the wheel I have is 38 offset from memory and are non apex wheels such as GTC. How come mine fits with no rubbing and 9.5s on these wheels rub? I assume its the offset of these wheels?

Thanks for the post! The offset definitely comes into play, your offset is 5mm more conservative than our 19x9.5" ET33, but they are also wider, so the outer clearance is essentially the same (within 1.4mm). What tire brand and size are you running?

Continental 5P all round. 255/30/19 for rears.. 225/35/19 for fronts.
