On a brighter note my e93 is build date august 07 and seems to be working fine with 1.47 - if it helps ?

Actually the marketing had been excellent... The delivery of the product a little off...

Update: Turns out there are 3 different ECUs for the 335. I have part numbers, production dates, etc,. I've tested 2 of them yesterday (the newest and the latest) and the third (the one in the middle) will be tested today. Both with v1 and v2. I'm guessing that cars after production date of 3/07 lost the small fuse next to the ECU.

good to know.. Do you know or think why they removed the one fuse? Was it doing anything? And to get it to work, just get the same kind of fuse?

It was protecting the power to the PROcede of course.

I wonder why they would change ECUs so many times in a given production year. What are the differences? More of a general question... Not pointed at any one person.

I wonder if they contain different values or way of capturing information, etc.

Actually, the PROcede never used the now-missing fuse. It relied on the big 50amp fuse which is still there. The lost fuse was to be used for the v2 update. For cars missing this fuse, v2 will require an alternative power source which we are testing right now.

When you say different ecu's are you just talking about the fuse or the actual ecu? Does that mean different mapping? Other than the fuse change, will your Procede work on all three versions identically?

Any way to send out V2.0 harnesses now to those of us with the "older" car (like mine as you know, is a 10/06 production)? Please?????

EDIT -- just read a the few posts above mine, which all ask the same thing. LOL.
