New hand car wash in Flushing/Bayside

This place recently opened up in Flushing. Its right off northern and utopia, where taco bell used to be.

coming from the LIE heading east turn left on utopia, two blocks past northern, left again on 39th ave.

true hand car wash meaning hoses chamois and buckets

the guy there, steve, is the man.. took care of all the little nicks and scratches on my car today and a full wash. The car looks fantastic, check it out if youre close by.

full hand car wash inside and out $15.

170-14 39TH AVE. FLUSHING NY 11358

1888 TINTMAX(8468629)

procedure.... rinse car..
wheels
wash mitt bucket soap, bottom of car.
soap wash mitt top of car.
hose down / powerwash
... full interior vacum and windows in and out
the guys even clean your door jambs by hand

hand dry exterior and he gets all the cracks and crevices with a leaf blower so water doesn't come out of the mirrors and etc as you drive off.

wow thats pretty cheap for $15...hopefully his wash mits are cleaned after every wash, otherwise the sand and pebbles from other cars would scratch your car anyway.

going to post a new thread about my detiling shop and hand wash in just a lil bit
in my shop we dont use the same wash mit for the top of the car and for the bottom and in my shop when we do hand washes we use only bone sponges
i do everything this new shop does and even better and ive been in business since 2001
no pressure washer at my shop neither just a good old fashioned authentic hand wash with bucket and water hose
i come highly reccomended

$40 hand wash tar removal on the bottom of the car clay bar blow dry all water from cracks
use only sponges not wash mits
use 2 different sponges, one for top of car one for bottom of car
use boat wax thats very durable and even more durable because i melt in a small amount of beeswax and add it right into the boat wax
