That touch screen is currently only available from Bimmer Retrofit. Their kit without touchscreen is about $3,000 AUD. The kit im sourcing is virtually identical in functionality and hardware for nearly half the price. I have no idea what the extra cost would be, but I'd guess it'd push it to over $3,500. Not really worth an almost $1,500 - $2,000 extra to pay o get the touch screen. I will ask "custom retrofit dot ro" if they will have this touch screen option on the horizon and how much it will cost to add on.

I am more interested in the screen mirrorinv and possibility to use the 10 inch wide screen!

Isn't the one in the video a NBT Evo (G series)?

THe standard F NBT has a similar interface to the CIC unless I am wrong? If it is the evo this would really be an upgrade to the CIC

yup I'm still keen CUB!

Touch screen doesn't really do much for me.... Would be a PITA with our screens most likely anyhow as its deeply recessed in the dash unlike current gen cars which have the tablet on the dash thing happening

I was thinking the exact same thing. Anyone thinking about the touch screen, try leaning back in your seat and reaching for the screen. If a tall bloke like DR JEKL can't reach it, no chance for shortie midgets like me.

There's also a reason car manufacturers moved their controls from the dash to console controllers in easy reach: it's called ergonomics

Hey Cashy I am still keen. Is it possible that we all buy together all the other parts that are needed aswell too. Thought I would ask the question. I am just on my way to Rome but I will be back in the country on the 23rd.

if I get the CIC from this car, will it be easier to get the CIC from this car rather than from any ebay seller from Europe or elsewhere?

If I have got a CIC unit locally, what I only need to do is just the coding?

ASV is the worst, they sell at 80% of the NEW price in most cases. I don't think I've ever seen anything reasonably priced from them.

Ref CCC to NBT GB

Hey Guys. I'm interested in this Upgrade but I'm a bit confused. Can anyone give me an indication of the total cost including latest controller and all parts required to convert CCC system, excluding centre console trim. And do I still need to get it coded?

budget approx 2500 for everything I'd say and no, all the coding will be done already. It's also not a direct plug and play. Will be well worth it if coming from CCC especially.

OK let's get the ball rolling on this and finalise the numbers by the end of the month, no more delays!

Hey Gerry
My guess is it will be north of $2500. NBT will be $1700 plus CCC trim, dash parts, coding another $700 odd. Controller apparently comes with the NBT kit. Cashy can probably provide a more complete list and accurate costing

Actually, as he doesn't require the trim, it'll probably be on the money or less. No coding needs to be paid for as the eNBT emulator will all be coded to your VIN at time of purchase. I'll post a list of what's needed but I thought it was all mentioned in the thread somewhere
